I played it for a couple of hours but since I already own BF2 there wasn't much of a point to me playing it. Fairly fun game regardless though.
 
Well I can't find the thread on here so hopefully nobody will care if we talk about it here? I sold my BF2 copy because of bugs, long loading times, etc. I wouldn't expect this game to be as well done but is it semi comparable gameplay wise? If it wasn't free is it good enough to pay for?

It would be good if it was under $20, but it's still in beta.

Have any specifics on why it sucks? Only reason I don't try it myself is because my gaming rig needs a new mobo and I would like to know if this is worth trying out once I'm running again. I'd assume a big problem would be lack of servers but that might/should go away once it's out of beta.
 
Every game pretty much sucks to pontifex, so I'm not sure what help that is.


Again, I found it to be pretty fun. I didn't play it long because I own BF2 anyway but for a free beta it was good. It didn't have the vehicles and weapon selection like BF2 plus I think there was only a couple of maps. The map I played was a simple city one with only a few humvees as vehicles. But its the same basic gameplay as BF2.

I don't remember how many servers there was but it was always easy to find a game. Certainly no less than there is for Special Forces BF2.

So yeah for a free download it would be worth trying out if you guys haven't the last time a thread was created. Probably not a game that you'd spend a ton of time on but good to jump into for a few quick rounds.

not every game, just happens to be the trend in games lately

Gun, Tomb Raider Legend, Warhammer 40k: DoW, and Titan Quest are a few i've enjoyed recently.

notice a trend? for the most part, they were all made and released by smaller companies.

graphics, controls, weapons, lag, vehicles, etc
 
Well first time in a few months playing it... laggy, ghetto graphics, and unlockable guns make it an ok game. But I wouldnt trade in BF2 or CSS to but it.
