I bought one of these last year.

BIG RIPOFF. They are NOT worth $49. you won't even get a dollar trying to sell them on Eghey. I took the pearls off and put'em back in the oysters and threw'em back in the water!

Not worth $3.95.

Why do you even have to go out of your way to be dickhead? Damn if you don't the posts, fuk off. Don't read these posts then. Hey thanks for the post, I got one for my wife and she loved them.

Then why are you being a dickhead by replying with profanity? If you don't like the comments then don't respond. The posts are are to warn people about these not-so-hot bargains and in this instance, more like a scam.

Even though I already knew that Eve.com was a bunch of rip-off artists, I appreciate it when someone WHO HAS TRIED THE DEAL tells us that it was no good. You can get these at Claires and Afterthoughts mall boutiques for pocket change. Just to tell you "floating" means that it's on a piece of fishing line so it looks like the pearls are stuck to your skin instead of on a necklace. Very prone to crinkling and curling just like fishing line does!

Thanks drac and TTurboZX for the heads up!

Shouldn't people be thankful when they're notified that the necklace might be a piece of crap from people who have it? Past threads about this have said pretty much the same thing about its "less than $3.95 value."

It's only for $3.95, I doubt any of you can make that by buying the materials alone, not to mention send it. I wasn't under the impression that posting any sort of hot deal had to satisfy the tastes of a few picky, anal-retentive people.

Sure it isn't all that great [the thought is though], but when I gave it to my gf, she was more than happy. Sounds like a few people didn't get "any" from their gf and are bitter about it.

My 7 year old daughter enjoyed this necklace. I think it is all relative. Some will enjoy it and some won't. If I gave it to my girlfriend she would love it because I thought of her and would laugh endearingly if it fell apart on first use, beg me to fix it, and call the people that 'ripped me off' immediately. I don't think most people would pay $49 for this in a retail brick and mortar store. I would pass over it for something better.

Ours hasn't fallen apart and it was worth the $3.95 for the joy it brought. Sometimes the feelings that are evoked are more valuable than the price paid.

Btw, you can get this for nothing if you place an order at Eve.com and meet the requirements for free shipping (if they still offer it). They do carry cosmetics found in your department store.
