Free foosball table worth the hassle?

Guy in craigslist is giving away a bunch of stuff, tv/sofas/dining set/chairs/foosball table, and I am thinking about trying to get the foosball table. The problem, an hour round trip drive, plus the fact it's first come first serve. I could make the trek and still lose, but damit, I want a foosball table. Not sure why...

EDIT: The "giveaway" starts at 6am this morning...so the first come first serve could make it just retarded.

5:10 am: Leaving to get the foosball table

6:53 am: No foosball table, 2 hours wasted, hyped on $5 starbucks coffee....

EDIT Well, not only did I not get a foosball table. I wasted a couple hours, the guy never answered his phone. In fact, I think the whole thing was a set up. The CL ad listed a different name than the one on the voicemail. Someone fvcking with someone else looks like.

I did do better than this guy though.

I forgot a key element which is my edit. He said he is going to start everything at 6am this morning. So its not like whoever sees the ad first and gets down there gets it...its who ever is at his place at 6am this morning.

Yes, foosball table is worth it. If you don't play it, lay a board over it and you can use it for a beer pong/flip cup table.

If it's a full size foosball table, then that alone would be worth it. I hope I can get it...going to leave in about 10 minutes.

The kicker? If I do get it, I'll have to ask him to help me carry it out to my car.

As I understand foosball has the single man goal-line and raised corners so that the ball doesn't get stuck. Table soccer has multi-man goal line typically 3 guys and a completely flat surface. I prefer foos myself but those tables seem to be harder to find. The table soccer being more of the American style while foos considered more the European style.
