i'm stumped. i want to believe that its legitimate, but i really can't understand how it could be. to good to be true?

These look to be uncut and unpolished rubies and emeralds. You would need to have them cut and polished. These are probably fresh from the ground.

imagine the face of your GF/wife when you tell her you got her a ruby or emerald, then pull out this uncut stone :) Prolly be sleeping on the couch for a while..but it'd sure be funny! !!

raw uncut seriously lowgrade emeralds and rubies(diamonds even) are basicly just rocks and yet they are "gems" to the ignorant.

You must know these things aren't worth the postage involved...
