Free Email provider that works in Outlook?

I believe Outlook can send & receive from Hotmail accounts, so that might be an option.

Otherwise, any freemail that uses standard POP3 servers should work fine. But no, I don't know of any.

Yahoo also offers free POP access, but you have to sign up for some newsletter or something(its only like once or twice a month)

I think for Hotmail it only works on new accounts. Please, someone tell me I'm wrong AND link me on the specs.

Hotmail isn't POP3 access, as far as I know. It's something specific to Hotmail. You tell Outlook that it's a Hotmail account, & it'll set up. Never used it myself, but it might be worth a look.

I'm not aware of any way to get POP3 access for Hotmail either. It works fine with Outlook Express though.
