(I wonder if the modem chip inside is Amati/Texas Instrument? TI bought Amati Communications 4 or 5 years ago. Amati held patents for the only 8Mbps ADSL technology at time. Most present DSL modems are 1.5Mbps max, I believe. Future bandwidth = up to 8Mbps?)
