I just found this today, I searched through and didn't find anything so I hope it's not a repost. Taken part in many a deal on here, but this is my first deal post so be gentle.

After upgrading my phone recently I was amazed at the fees they want for a screensaver or the games so I think this is a great deal. It seems you just have to type in your phone # and it sends you a message on your phone. I don't have my phone with me at the moment so I haven't been able to try but I will try later.

Here ya go!

Please note: Your phone must have web access for this site to work.

I want to find a site that allows you to download games, ringtones, etc. and then you can transfer them to your phone from your PC via USB cable.

Well, I can understand that, it's kind of suspect having to give them your number, but it seems legit to me. I guess if I start receiving lots of telemarketing crap phone calls then I'll know where they came from....

FYI: Over at chubby billfold they have a bunch of sites (under free stuff) but I haven't looked through them to see how they work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they need the phone number because it's part of the email address. I'm about to begin a development project to connect cell phones calendars and contacts to Outlook 2003. I also plan to give the user the ability to create download ringtones. I can't imagine paying for these since I'm fairly certain they are not difficutl to create.

I can't correct you, cause I don't know honestly, but that sounds right. One of the other sites I looked at said to input your pcs id #, I'm not exactly sure what that even is... I like the sound of your project, that could come in very handy. The prices for the screensavers and ringtones annoyed me cause at least for the screens, you pay a fee and then you only get them for like 90 days or something then they are gone:roll:....how stupid is that.

All this subscription stuff is getting out of had. If you try to buy an email client on the Buy It Now part of Verizon Wireless, you pay for like a month and then have to pay again the next money for the same program.

Because it seems you never stop paying; I'm hoping to get other developers involved so we create a repository of screen savers, ringtones, etc... for all that want them. I'll probably add a web service to connect to non-profit organizations so people can donate to the organization of their choice IF they so choose to.

IMHO, the gauging of customers by major corporations has gotten out of hand.

If anyone has ideas and/or suggestions about what they would like to see on the site I'm creating, by all means let me know.

check out 3gupload for cellphone apps, games, and especially ringtones. It's awesome, really.

It looks interesting. They want $9.99 for unlimited downloads for 1 year.

If you read the comments it appears that a lot of the apps do not work.
