Penguin will podcast the unabridged audiobook, read by acclaimed actor Geoffrey Palmer, in five installments starting on Thursday 15 December, and continuing 16, 19, 20 and 21 December.
Broken down into the five sections of the original text and perfect for the daily commute, these five servings will be available free from < http://thepenguinpodcast.blogs.com> and the iTunes music store.
The Penguin Podcast is the first to be launched by a major UK publisher. Penguin has publishing groups in both London and the USA. The podcast has already been visited by nearly 10,000 people from 60 countries, and has reach the top 30 in the iTunes podcast chart.
The program has also been featured on BBC Radio5's Pods and Blogs program.
The podcast is available in a number of formats suitable for all MP3 players and computers, as a feed for iTunes and other podcast catchers and is also available in an enhanced format displaying images and live web links.
