Any idea what forms this supports (like 1040EZ-T)? Specifically do you know if it supports that phone excise tax refund? And can we do deductions/business/work expenses ect? First year Ive actually really made money, but Ive also spent quite a bit on trying to start my own business as well. I want to make sure I get the best refund as possible so I can reuse the money to keep things going.

I'm thinking of doing the Taxcut Premier with Efile State and Fed for 39.99

or just send in the crap the old fashioned way.

Efile is much easier for me tho ...
not too sure what to do :*(

I've used TaxCut free for the last 3 years. I believe it was $14.95 for e-file of the federal form.
Florida doesn't have a state income tax so I didn't have to file that form.

I use Turbo Tax online with a special link from my bank. It basically offers 14.95 federal filing with the online version. It also carries over my previous years information and all that. No software to install.

I believe the IRS website has special discounted links to both Tax Cut and Turbo Tax on their website.

If you go strait to the websites you see a full retail price. So basically every time you access them you should link through irs.gov or your institution providing the discount.

Thanks. I got in on a similar deal with Taxcut last year. It's pretty good.....just as good as Turbo Tax and you can't beat the free part. :D

I already have TurboTax 2006 but I think I will download this just so I can compare the two programs and see if I like theirs.

Is it legit? I don't want my SSN/mailing address/etc. to end up somewhere in hacker's den. Any ideas if this is an official/untampered version?

I guess I could configure the firewall to block all access to taxcut executable... Any suggestions?
