Just read in CGW that their January issue will have the full, free Deus Ex game on the CD version.

Just a heads-up as I've never bought it, but I'll buy the mag just for the game. Should be on sale first/second week of December.

Wow, it was a great game! Picked it up a while back, and was in gaming heaven on my 300a @ 450 and my Geforce2MX.

Might pick the magazine up just to see how much better it looks on a current system.
 
Amazingly kick @ss game, well worth the price of the mag. I got my friend's copy after he wasn't interested in playing it. Oh, man! 😀 System Shock 2 meets X-Files, wonderfully immersive story line.

I got mine that way too, unfortunately the "full" version that comes with the SB cannot be patched, updated, used to play the multiplayer mods, etc. 🙁

What an incredibly awesome game. Graphics are not quite as good as half-life, but I have yet to encounter such an amazing storyline in a videogame . . that and well-designed levels, intelligent bad guys, and about a million ways to accomplish anything, plus a million things you can to to grease the skids but aren't really nescessary . .

I read somewhere that you only have to kill one person to beat the game. And the developer was sad because it wasn't zero. I think that is awesome. ("They say this guy can just disappear when he wants to . . " "Did you hear something?")
 
I posted this over in Hot Deals about 2 weeks ago. Kept in my favorites to bump when the mag comes out 🙂.

Wrong. The graphics were a lot better than Half-Life.
The game is awesome. Hope the sequel lives up to the hype.
 
Deus Ex sequal is gonna tear it up! I can't wait. ALSO, if you pre-order at Best Buy, you get a free Deus Ex t-shirt!
 
Great game. IMO, the learning curve is steep, but from there on is smooth sailing. This post got me looking forward to the upcoming Dues Ex 2.
