Free Deer Hunting Video

I tell ya, it's great to shoot a big buck, but the best tasting meat comes from a young doe. I've never shot a fawn, and I never would, but I bet they are really tasty.

Rumor originating in Borneo is that the best and most tender tasting meat is a young human baby.

I lived on Borneo. Never heard that one, but now give them a good young dog, preferably black (they're sweeter) and they're happy campers. When you're invited for dinner, just sit down shut up and eat.

I just bagged my first Buck last November. It was a 6 point. Funny thing is, I don't care much for the meat. It's got a "gamey" taste to it. The only way I can eat it is to make Deer Jerky out of it. Taste just like Beef Jerky.

Damn, I must really be a redneck.

If you go to here link, then click on videos. Hunting Moonshine Island and Redneck Hunting Club are two of the best comedy deer hunting videos out there. Also you get to see some huge deer. Both videos and another can be bought for only $10. That's a deal!

Just thaw the meat in water and keep changing the water to rinse the blood out. That is what gives it a "gamey" taste. I do this, then marinade steaks and cook them on the grill. Haven't had anyone complain about the tast this way, but then again I have a lot of polite friends. 😉

coomarlin: the trick is to try all the different things your local processor does. My brother got some *awesome* bratwurst and some decent ring bologne from the processor (along with jerky, which ain't too great compared to the highly seasoned store stuff).

The bratwurst are *awesome* though. Simply delicous!
