I arranged to sponsor October stats on the Free-DC stats site. All sub pages show the image that I stole from the TAS forum. Click on the image to get to this forum.

I chose October because it is cooling off in the Northern Hemisphere and still cool in the Southern Hemisphere. Hence, crunching will pick up again. I am hoping this link will attract some new TeAm members.

I picked up the cost for this time around. If it attracts new members, we could pool our resources to sponsor next October.

Nice one!

I donated to Free-DC a couple of times before, but to sponsor a whole month, that's just a great idea!!

I've noticed a lot more enthusiasm from a lot of new & lurking blood. Only good things can happen from there. Thank you again Rudy. :)

I have notced an increase in the output of seti@home. That increase can not be explained by the actions of TAS - I think ... something more must have happened: ahhhh 6 new members in the past 2½ weeks ...

Arlen is an old member of TA :) (not as in age;)) ,but yes that'd be a nice boost in output with those:cool:

so, have we been able to trace directly any new seti crunchers for the TeAm to the Free-DC stats webpage ad?

Not just SETI ,covers all projects :) ,but yes it'd be nice to know more precisly what sort of an impact it had.
