If you're into, or getting into, 3D graphics and animation, for a limited time, Daz3D is giving away copies of three programs:

Daz Pro 4 - 3D art and animation

Bryce 7 Pro - 3D landscape and animation

Hexagon 2.5 - 3D modeling

Versions for PC and Mac.

I don't know how good they are, but if it's at all interesting, the price is right. They require a subscription to their newsletter so you may want to set up a free e-mail account in case they send more info than you want to receive in your regular inbox.

I signed up about 15 hours ago with two different e-mail addresses and didn't receive either account e-mail confirmation.

It took me awhile to figure it out, as well. Try logging onto their site with the e-mail address and password you used to register the account. Note that it doesn't ask for the user name you registered. Then, go to the download page, and add the programs to your shopping cart, and place the order.

Here's where it gets tricky. When I tried to download the software, instead of opening up a save box, I got a rather empty (not blank) page that said "Done," but no download box opened.

Later, I went back to my e-mail and found more e-mails with serial numbers for the product and a direct link to the actual download page. I'm in the process of moving frorm a 32 bit system to a 64 bit, I downloaded both 32 and 64 bit Windows versions of the programs and all of the ancillary stuff they offer for it.

If you want to see what the programs can do, check this video - DAZ Studio 4.0 - Welcome and Overview and some of the others linked at that page. Looks like kewl stuff.
