The free kit has all four channels available for viewing, but only one analog channel enabled for recording. If you do not qualify to receive the starter kit free or if you would prefer to have all four channels enabled, you can purchase the kit for the low price of $12.95.

Literally hundreds of uses for the electronics geek.

I work in a facility that uses cards similar to this.
Ours are used for everything from temprature control to servo motor control.

This particular model would be used only for aquisition of data. Input only. But, it would still be rather useful for programatically monitoring various external data, such as waveforms or voltages or temp. probes for that bad-ass water cooling setup you got going on..

Like the above post said.. with a little imagination the posibilities are large. :)
