patch cable is the normal cable. if it is a crossover cable, it's ususally specified as such.

I have multiple addresses through Earthlink, so I use 1 for important stuff like family, friends, job searches, etc. and the other is used solely for situations like this!

Spam is a state-of-mind. Errr...or something like that.
