So I went to Caligari's website to wistfully drool at the current version of trueSpace, and now it's FREE. Evidently Microsoft bought Caligari and decided to make trueSpace a freebie.
The learning curve is long and steep. I've used trueSpace 4.3 for years and I'm still lost on tS7.6. But if you want to wrestle through it, here ya go: http://caligari.com/
