Free Bourne Supremacy DVD

Blockbuster online is giving away the Bourne Supremacy for free when you sign up for their online service (similar to Netflix). The online service is 17.49 a month for 3 DVDs out at a time plus you get 2 coupons a month for free instore game or movie rentals. They ran this same promo about a month ago for Shrek 2. I signed up and within 15 mins I had my coupons for the instore rentals as well as the coupon for my free Shrek 2 movie.

I'm Sorry that I had to drop BB but their service was way too slow in VA. I only got about an average of about 12 movies a month on the 3 out plan.

If your blockbuster store in near by, they have a promotion for $14.99 per month with 2 in store movies swapping. There is no limit on swapping. You are encourage to swap as many times you want within the same day. After the first month, you will be charged $24.99 per month.

It works great for me because the blockbuster store locates very close by. I share one of the movie with my brother and we swing by every night after work and swap movies. To me it's better than the online deal.
 
🙁 I missed the Shrek 2 deal so I signed up from a link on a spam page to get a free Spiderman 2.

I like BB online so far. It's been a little short of 2 weeks (free trial) and i've already received 8 movies plus 2 in-store rentals (1 game, 1 movie).
 
Is Blockbuster fast at shipping your movies out to you? Hey, i got a question for you Netflix users... Does it seem they are taking longer to get your movies out to you after you have been a member for a few months? I know Christmas traffic is slowing down the mail, but mine come from a hub just 60 miles away? Seems like they have been getting slower for the last two months? Tell me how yours is working out? And who you use.
 
Netflix has been getting slower for me lately. I think it's combination of holiday mail and the influx of new members due to the lower price that's causing the slowdown. It'll probably ease back to normal in a month or so.

Looks like 1 month of regular service minimum.
 
If it's like the Shrek2 deal you can cancel before the month is over and they may offer you another month free. So two months, a movie, and in-store coupons for $17.50 isn't bad.
They are a bit slower than Netflix in sending movies out. I've waited an average of 3 days to receive a title once it is listed as shipped. However, they do ship out movies on Saturday unlike Netflix so you get an "extra" day of the week to somewhat offset their slow delivery times. When I was in Netflix I would always get my movies the next day after they sent it out.

I'm getting movies 1-2 days after I get the ship email. The local distribution center is about 70 miles away.

And for the shrek2 deal the free movie was just for trying BB online. I don't know if you will get a refund for the $17.99 after getting the movie now since it excludes the free trial. But you probably do get a free extension.

I'm thinking the same thing. My free trial ends today... I wonder if i'll get the free DVD because I start getting charged tomorrow.

Yes, that's what I meant. You still have to pay for one month.
 
Well you are able to print out the coupon after signing up. I'll let you know on tuesday whether they honor my coupon or not.
 
You supposedly get a $75 Blockbuster gift card when you sign up for the same program through TheBargainProject, but no free DVD... I am giving it a try as it Wired Magazine mentioned this place. They did confirm I made the Blockbuster program purchase, so I sent in the paperwork. Supposed to get a free card in a few weeks, we'll see. If you guys want to know how to get other free Blockbuster or Hollywood Video rentals, I have plenty of info on my site, see link below...

it's mind numbing to try and watch more than a few movies a day.
