I guess $6.95 is a pretty good price for 3 bottles ( tiny ) of ink. Does anybody know where you can buy a larger bottle of this ink? I received one of those Universal inkjet refill kits for xmas, and what a joke it was. I don't know what the giver paid, but anything more than $5.00 was a ripoff. The kit comes with all this needless caps, cutters, etc. ( junk ). I have a Canon BJC-6000 which has a small ball check at the top of the tank which gets depressed so the ink can be injected. Murphy's Law prevented this from happening. The easiest way ( on my printer ) was to remove the tank and drill a small hole ( just slightly larger than the injector ) and inject the ink, then cover with transparent tape. Works great and is much easier than the instructions. Additionally, when I refilled again the tank does not require removal-just peel back the tape and refill. I know eventually the cartridges will burnout and need to be replaced but if you prevent the cartridge from going dry the resistors won't burnout and the head won't dry and clog up.
