They were here giving them out on campus today. I think one of them got yelled at by the campus police, b/c he was standing on the roadbridge when I went to calculus, and he had moved to the footbridge (and to a spot less obvious to the campus police, who rarly get out of the cars). Only asked if I wanted one once, but I told him I already had the Oxford Study Bible I was working on finishing in my dorm room.
I did find it funny, though, that when he handed them out to a group of the Japanese-American students that were crossing across the bridge before me. He'd say to them "Gift" or "Free" and hand them one. When the guy in front of me walked by, he said "Would you like a free copy of God's word?" One would think that if they're in college they could speak the language (and they do, very well actually). Oh well, sometimes the obvious eludes some people.
