Free benchmark utility? Swapping CPUs.

I'm swapping a CPU in my PC and wanted to run some sort of benchmark on it to see what performance difference I get. Not looking for anything fancy but it has to be free.

Can anyone recommend anything?

It's an old P4 1.8 being replaced by a P4 2.66, Nothing fancy.

pc wizard 2008 from cpuid (makers of cpuz) have a system benchmark that will give your cpu a score, along with a score for all your other components.

what CPU is it? superpi is a single threaded app.

You could always run the free trial of everest or SiSoftSandra. Jot down the score and then test it after the CPU swap.

then superpi can tell u how much faster it is if u can run it on the same system
