Free audio cd burner that easily removes the 2 sec gap?

Are there any freeware cd burning apps that allow you to remove the two second gap between tracks easily? I'm burning cds of my mixes for friends, and usually have 40+ tracks in each mix. Going through and resetting the pause between each track from 2 to 0 seconds gets quite tiresome! Thanks.

iTunes will let you set the gap between tracks for when burning anywhere between 0 and 8 seconds I believe. Pretty simple to go in and change the option to set it with a 0 second gap.

Umm, as far as I know, in Nero express there is a little box you can check that says "remove gaps between tracks" on the screen where you add the tracks.

In nero, just select all but the first track, go to properties and remove the 2 second gap. It takes 2 seconds!

I was about to say that.. never had any problem doing that. You just can't remove the 2 seconds gap on the first track, that's about it.

I'm using Nero 4 (haha), and like I said, you can't simply highlight all but the first track and eliminate the 2 second intertrack gap.
Any suggestions other than itunes?

Dude!

Nero 4? What are you on, Windows 3.1, too? Nero 5.5 is like 5 bucks... and it's still the best recording program out there... Christ!

I bet you can contact Ahead, and when they hear you're still using version 4, they'll give you version 5 just out of pity. Aren't you entitled to a free upgrade, anyway?

HAHAHAHA. you've seriously gotta be kidding.

nero 6 ultra is like $10 (or just dl the damn thing for free). and then you'll finally have that cute little box that you can check to remove the gaps between tracks.

although for someone using nero 4, I don't know why you're complaining that removing the track gaps takes so long when it probably takes 10 times as long for you to just restart your computer.

hahah you've got all that hardware and you can't find nero 6?

just remember, hardware can be just as limited by the software and the other way around.
