Free Athlon and Duron Case Stickers. Reminder

Hi,
I'm sure many of you might know this already but here's a reminder, also its a hot deal cause its free. Once in awhile I see some con artist try to sell the case stickers to some poor smuck who pays a dollar or two for an athlon or duron case sticker from them. Call 1-800-222-9323, the AMD literature request line and ask the rep for the stickers for free. Don't be too greedy and ask for hundreds of the stickers but get what you need, I built 2 athlons and 2 durons so I got 2 of each. They said 7 business days for it to arrive.

Good tip. You can also do this with case manufacturers. I used Enlight cases for my wife's system and mine. Since I swap out processors far more frequently than I do cases I contacted Enlight's sales dept. via e-mail. They sent me a few of their case stickers, free.

I just called, and the lady said that the stickers are on backorder, and she will send me a sheet of 35! I guess that is what they come in....

I just built my new Duron system, and I am building another for a friend...

the sticker is key!!

I put one over the 80286 sticker. I've noticed that the computer runs much faster and doesn't lock up as often. I wonder what will happen if I place one on my blender, lawn mower, power drill, or Mustang?

I put it right near my "Antec Outside" sticker, and since then the IRQ's haven't stoped conflicting.
When I spoke to Atec tech support they said : this is a known issue we are currently working on it. For now and only tempererly until we get this resolved please use "Intel inside" sticker.

I put my sticker directly on the processor. That shiny metallic sticker stuff has to be a good heat conductor, right?

I am running an Athlon but my case has an "Intel Inside" sticker. Apparently, at the facility where I work, we bought a bunch of Intel III Xeon processors and each processor came with stickers. It looks funny on my case since no way would I have the money to build a system with a Xeon processor but that's because I wasn't able to get an Athlon sticker. Looks like I won't be able to get one now.
