Any others out there?

Circuit City
CDR50 50pk $24.99 less $25 CC MIR Shows as not available online for direct ship but available in-store. Ad says $25 MIR, site shows $15 and $10 MIR's.

CompUSA
Philips 50pk CD-R (294176) $19.99 - $5 Instant Rebate - $15 Mfr. MIR = $0 after MIR [40x speed rating on product info] (Thanks to JhonnyBlaze47's thread CompUSA Store Ad (June 30th-July 3rd) for all the CompUSA stuff.)

Hmm, it showed up as a Direct Ship-only item for me, and then when you go to check out, it's OOS. :( And none of the stores nearby have it in stock. :(

Just picked up a 50pk of the Phillips CD-R's. My CompUsa store had none on the shelf, had to ask for them to get from the back. Suppose they do this on purpose ???
The rebate goes to Medina OH. Never heard of this fulfillment center , I just hope it dosen't turn into another PHILLIPS rebate fiasco like the CDRW drive did.

I went for this deal today. The form had to be printed out at Compusa since they had none. The form asks for product serial number. I wasn't sure what that was. I used the number (12 digit under the product ID) but not the UPC number.

If that wasn't enough. I looked up my Name on the database at the website referenced and it said my entry was rejected for multiple submissions. This is not true. I was unaware of any submissions. I only did one recently, the Staples 100 pk 40X CD-R, so I wondered if it was switched from Parago like the old CDRW one that took many months and several calls to claim.

If they ain't paying, then Compusa will! I'll defer from any more Philips rebates until both rebates due me are paid and my name is in good standing.

I picked up a spindle of these at CC in Colonial Heights, VA this morning, 700MB/80 minute 32X. Plenty on hand.

Two separate rebates printed out, one for $10 and one for $15. Both go to Young America (What a STUPID name for a town!) but to different PO boxes. They aren't as fast as Staples, but I have never failed to get a rebate from them.

CC's CDR is their own brand, looks well 'crappy', they use color red on CDR, oh the humanity. Those bunch of liers in compusa told me they are out of stock on the free CDRs. if you have to, advice is to get the compusa one, least it's philips

The Circuit City CDR's are listed as $14.99 on their web site (search for CDR50). Point this out when they ring up at the register for $24.99 and make $10.01 on the deal. I did.

There is no phone number in the rebate form, so I can find nobody to verify what the SN number is.
And it does said any omission of information will result in a return of materials and the re-submission has to be within 7/17,
that is Mission Impossible III.

From the online rebate forms: "If you have questions about your rebate, please call: 1-888-213-9761"

Still plenty of these at my CC store, but they do show online for $14.99 and have both rebates linked and shipping is free through Jul 6.

The CC near me wouldn't match the web price, the reason is because it was O/S on the web. Would have been free A/R at the $25, But I have enough cheap cdr's that it only made sense if I made money.
