so what do you think. i can't figure out if its a scam or not. would be nice to a free laptop but i'd prefer to avoid scams

A lot of those are real, the catch is that you will have to do X offers and so will a certain number of people. Since the number is so large, what if they simply wait for 10 people to get close, and then shut down the site saying it was discontinued?

I'd say to not bother, especially with something that will require as many referrals as that.
