cc rebates are kind of a hassle because they dont use wheresmyrebate.com or rebatestatus.com, but they come in a two to three months, just got one today for a purchase made the first week of october.

I got a few free after rebate webcams from them this summer. I, or anyone else I know who got them, still have not recieved the rebates, and that was 4-5 months ago -- neither the manufacturer's or CC's rebate.

CC, although sucks in my opinion, now has a rebate status check under rebates tab.

While you're at CC, don't forget the free (after MIR) DVC camcorder camera bag, laptop case and Belkin mini USB 4-port! (I got 'em all including the 20 alkaline batteries which ENDED today - the others I mentioned are good thru Sun.)

I forgot the Belkin mini USB mouse, surge protector, 100 CDRs - all free after MIR

They also have the STI 100 CDR's for free after rebate. They're 16x 700MB. This is B&M.

I've done about 8 Circuit City rebates in the past 4 months, and all of them have come in with no problems. They've also usually come a bit faster than most other rebates.

CC rebates are the best. At least you have a real complaint department that will work to resolve your problems.

As always, document/copy everything and get proofs of mailing . . . follow the rebate instructions to the letter.

Anyway, all the good stuff will be gone pretty soon even though they did have a good stock (unlike Beast Buy and Stapless).

After visiting the store on Fri., I was surprised to still be able to order online Fri. afternoon all the other free things that the B+M had run out of. Batteries, CD carrying case, and Gravis digital joystick, and free shipping to boot!

Yeah I know, the Gravis Blackhawk digital joystick is not free after MIR, but $2.99 is a good price.

wow actually that rebate status thing is pretty nice, watch out for typos/system errors though the month number was off by 1 for me. Now that I think about it the rebates came pretty quickly, and cc rebates are good.

I picked up the Belkin USB hub today, but it rang up as $29.

Can anyone tell me if the "free after rebate" deal is good today (Sat)?

Beetlejuice - the hub was on the back page of the flyer, not with the 5-hour specials on the front and the website still has it listed as $19.99 (tho out of stock)

Hahaha - Go to CircuitCity.com. At the top of the page you'll see a tab that says "Rebates"

It looks like I bought the wrong Belkin hub today :frown:, so it's back to cc for me!
