that is not that bad use it 4 backup or somthing! you need to order somthing else to get it free though! the cheapest item they have is a cpu cooler for PIII = $8.00 plus 3 pounds shipping on the drive and 2 pounds for cooler!

umm...if you want to contact a salesperson, it's at getshocked@hotmail.com, yes, HOTMAIL! call me crazy, but I do not tend to trust any vendors who has a free email provider as their email. secondly, I tried looking them up at www.resellerratings.com but couldn't find them. this seems like a good deal, but I would be careful with them.

Oh, it just struck me as funny because I am trying to get a 15.00 dollar 30.7 gig drive or a free 20 gig drive. I have to put the Staples Queen on this one because it takes a little too much negotiation for me :) She will probably get the deal tomorrow AND a 20 coupon for her trouble. She said this 850 deal is just my type. No hassle. Of course then I end up with all the old junk and she gets the cool stuff :)

This free drive 850 megabyte drive will have a purpose somewhere for sure

Looks like the PIII heatsink and fan under cooling is the cheapest. 8 bucks

Not bad, too bad the scanner isn't a flatbed.

Bandito - How are you getting a 30 gig for that low or a 20 gig for free? Email me to continue this as it's off-topic.

If you want the details of the Hard Drive deal some of us are trying to do you have to read the thread on the Western Digital deal at Sam's. It depends on how you want to spend your time. You can pay 99.98 and get a hard drive with a 40 rebate in a few months from Sam's and talk to your honey about something else... or you can snuggle with her as she plots how she is going to get it for free with an accompanying bet that she can't do it :) Except I learned long ago not to bet against her on these deals.

Somebody put in two scanners and a fan and got 20 total including shipping. I don't think I would do this deal without using a webcertificate.
Not sure of the security and reliability here. I will be glad when Amex starts their throw away credit card numbers.

Let's see. PO Box, Hotmail email address, and a toll phone number. Looks fly-by-night to me. I wouldn't even give them my name, nevermind credit card data. They've only had the domain name for 19 days also.

Security is a big issue. We use an address at MailBoxes, etc for alot of our stuff with other accompanying security measures.

People are getting cancellation notices for reasons like
You ordered too many items. Only one free thing per order.
Or free items out of stock, etc.
It may be a college student who is trying to make a buck and it is a legitimate deal. Or it could be a scam. Who knows. There was a CC address that was a usc.edu.
