you get a free 6 month trial of amazon prime, which gives you free 2 day shipping on millions of items and a bunch of other goodies like free streaming of a bunch of movies and tv shows.

All you have to do is be a student, click the link, and sign up with your student email.
No referral links.
have fun guys! :)

I got suckered by Amazon Prime and forgot to cancel my free subscription before it ended, was charged for another year. I guess the free shipping kind of makes up for it.

Open a chat with Amazon if you don't want it. They are very good about that sort of stuff.

If you have not used the Prime for shipping anything since your card was charged, they will refund you your money back.

I think they actually have that in writing someplace.

I have been paying for Amazon Prime for like 5 years now. It is worth every penny.

And the 6 month Amazon Prime free for students seems like a bad deal. It used to be 1 year free for everyone and then 4 years for half price for students (which I took advantage of). It is then $80 a year, but for all the stuff I order, it is worth it in 2 day shipping alone.

Amazon was very clever with this plan. Now anytime I want to order anything, I just go search on different sites (Newegg has an infinitely better search for computer parts) then search for the specific part I've narrowed down on Amazon to buy it.
