You pay a small fee. For 4 gb its like $5.
Seriously your true back ups should be on a dvd or portable drive. And leave a copy at friends house. It all else fails then online free back-up is pretty good. $5 to get it all back because your too lazy to do real backup (like me, not just you) is ok deal. And most of the time you dont need it all back at once.

Does anyone recall the big information leak AOL just had? I wouldn't upload anything to them unless encrypting my data for sure! Just a warning to be careful.

They didn't have a big information leak...unless you are talking about the release of the search data. That was on purpose though.

25gb free

Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.DownloadCredits'.'PK_DownloadCredits' in database 'Users' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

i get that message after trying to register.

Snap! I got the same message as DP, just tried this morning, tried in both IE and FF. Oh well, I'll check back later.

I think you should worry more about protecting your passwords (and possibly a flawed web application) than AOL leaking out your information...

I'd worry more about AOL charging you 10 months after you quit their service even after you have told them 5 times to stop charging you.
