Free $5 or more for those who bought BlackICE from Amazon

I bought BlackICE from Amazon on June 10th for $14.99 to get in on the "making money from rebate" deal. BlackICE is now $9.99, so I emailed Amazon about this and they said they would credit me $5.00 to my credit card. As far as I know, this credit only works for products within 30 days of purchase.

Thanks very much for the tip ! I called (1-800-201-7575) with my order number and the CSR sent me a $15 GC (I had bought 3 copies of BlackICE).

If you paid with a credit card you will probably just get $5 credit per copy ... but my original order was almost entirely paid using promotional certificates ... hence she couldn't give me a direct credit, but sent the $15 GC instead.

Mine was pretty much the same but they credited my card for $15 even though I actually paid about $5.00 total originally.
