4D database is a great relational database that is cross platform (MAC/PC), web enabled, and handles up to 128gig of data.....free download for students and those affiliated with academic institutions.

Wow, 4D is still around? (I'm serious) It's hard to beat free, and for students it may be fine, but I'd be surprised if you could find this product still in use in business. This is not meant as criticism of your post... just want to point out that someone may want to devote their energies to learning a product they may use after they leave school.
