Even though this is mainly for 2 wheel drive vehicles, Toyota will send out replacement notices to all 4runners. Mine is a 4wheel and I just got my notice yesterday!!! YeeeeeHHAAAAA....FREE rear springs and suspension replacement. Can't beat that.

Be on the look out for it 4runner owners!

cool, looks like I"m getting some free work done on my car.
I purchased my 4Runner used so I doubt I'm going to get anything in the mail, guess I'll just call my local dealership and make an appointment

I got my new springs installed last week when the spring issue was a campaign, not a recall. Mine is a 98 2 wheel drive 4runner. They replaced the springs, and both rubber bump stops on each side of the rear axle. I noticed the ride to be no different until under load. With 2 big passengers in the back before, the ride was brutal, bouncing all over the place. It is now improved, tho still somewhat less than ideal. I am now considering replacing the shocks.....

Anyone running Flowmaster exhaust on their 4runner. I heard it sounds better than the TRD stuff.
