Use google checkout and you can get the 2gb card for free and they give you 10 bucks (-50+10 GCO = -40 + 50 rebate = +10) 😀
 
You can do that if you've never used Google checkout before.

Or you can apply for a buy.com credit card and they'll end up paying you $30.

I'd pass unless you upgrade shipping. Buy.com gets you your product WAY too slow to take a chance with $50.

I'm still waiting for a blu-ray movie that was in stock that I ordered 4 weeks ago.
 
they seem to have some FAR memory card every week! but the rebate date issue is definitely a problem, I did not get a refund on a FAR Kingston 512 USB drive from December... but I am trying my luck with the 2GB usb drive from last week ^_^.
 
Living in Arizona it seems like i have gotten everything in a decent time so far, I've been taking advantage of too many rebates from Buy.com though.
 
I ordered 10 or 11 times between Thanksgiving and Christmas from Buy.com without a delivery issue at all with the free 7-9 day, super saver shipping . Some of my items were received within 3 days of ordering and these were the super cheap Kingston USB drives, SD cards, MicroSD cards, etc., that I am pretty sure were in high demand during the holiday season. The only one that took about 10 days to get to me was the second micro SD card and they said it would ship in 3-5 days and they did, (received it 10-12 days after ordering). I had plenty of time to send in all my rebates.

If the website says ships in 1 or 2 business days and you have 30 days to send in the rebate, I wouldn't worry at all. Now if the item states, ships in more than 2 weeks, I might reconsider. You can always cancel before the deadline.
 
I just got my email that my order had shipped - less than 48 hours after placing it. I think I'll make it with the rebates, though as AMD K9 so eloquently stated, it is OOS.

The 512MB card is still in stock though.
