Right on, larrymoencurly. "Retinol" is another name for Vitamin A, nothing more and nothing less. Unfortunately, Retinol is not the same as Retin-A a.k.a. Tretinoin which is a derivative of Vitamin A but actually has a pharmacological affect that increases the turnover of skin cells. Folks would be just as well off rubbing a Flintstones chewable on their face as they would using Retinol
BTW, take it from a former pimply-faced teenager, only the prescription stuff works when it comes to zits! And washing your face doesn't help, nor does cutting chocolate or anything else out of your diet. Oh yeah, and there's no Santa either! < g >
