which dell system in particular? it's better than most of the dells except for the xps series.

edit - nevermind, i thought you were talking about the pc itself.

Definitely a lower end LCD... but it makes the computer a decent deal. For just the tower I wouldn't pay quite that much, but overall it seems ok with this.

The posted monitor has a .25ms response time and the worst contrast ratio. It is the worst of them all. Like SwatX said, the 1704FPV is more of a video editing monitor while the 1704FPT is for gaming (fast response time).

I've had a 400:1 25ms (BenQ 1701 I think). It was so bad that I returned it, my eyes were hurting whenever I looked at it too long.

Get the too bad the FPV is 25ms too. 1000:1 was a good ratio.
