Quasimodo - the easiest way to pricematch is to call 1-800-3$TAPLE and ask the CSR to check out the website of the place your pricematching. They usually check to make sure it's in stock and add on shipping. You can also find their pricematch page on $taples.com (sorry I don't have time to find it myself). The problem with the latter method is that you must place the order first, then submit the pricematch.
All - There is a $50 Fuji rebate on this camera. Rumor has it that Fuji cancelled the rebate early, but I've read that they will honor it with the original rebate coupon, which I got from $taples B&M. I sent it in last week so don't know yet. Form says it expires Jan 31st.
I bought this camera a couple months ago with multiple coupons, which you can no longer do. Very good camera for the price, but you will probably want to invest in NiMh batteries (doesn't work with Lithium batteries) and a larger memory card. Pretty good software included: adobe photodeluxe. 16MB card for free is cool, though.
Q - try not to let them add on overnight shipping. If you're not happy with the CSR you're speaking to, politely change your mind and call back. I have found that being nice to them, chatting about the weather, Kentucky (where they are located), etc. works wonders. Seems they enjoy a little southern hospitality, too. You might check for other freebies by searching this forum by camera name to see the old threads and check your sunday ad. You can only use one dollar off coupon but I think you can stack codes for free stuff without problem. I also got a caselogic camera case, and a floppy disk /memory card adapter that I'm still waiting for. (I think these are both no longer offered).
