There's a reason they're giving the free trial Like other Sony Online Entertainment games, it sucks. It's buggier in its 'finished' state by far than most beta software, and SOE will take every opportunity to screw you out of more money than simply the subscription fee, such as switching "order new expansion" nag-screen buttons' placement with the normal "accept end user license" button, the accidental clicking of which will, without a confirmation box, order you the new expansion (which they come out with every month or two - doesn't take much time to throw together a pile of sh*t), and it's non-refundable. Another tactic they use is "accidentally" charging everyone twice for a month once in a while, but requiring customers to dispute the charge with their credit card company. Like rebates, many people don't even get the notice, much less do anything about it, and Sony lines their pockets. I'd wager they'll make it extremely hard to cancel your trial subscription as well.
