Get $100 free for signing up for the Citi ThankYou Mastercard.

Same typical crap for credit cards, 0% APY for 9 months and then it explodes to 33% soul sucking APR. Just make 1 purchase, get your $100 gift card after 3 months and cancel.

No annual fee.

P.S. Either the link doesn't like Firefox or one of my adblock extensions, so use IE if you don't see an Apply Now link, though that might be a deal killer for some. :)

*edit pasted in wrong link, old link went to Business, new link goes to Personal. Sorry.

My wife and I have this one and funnel all of our purchases through it. Same gig, but -5 ThankYouSM Points for every $1 spent on purchases at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations for 12 months and 1 ThankYou Point thereafter. But the APR is 13.24% right as you start.

You can go here to see a list of the companies they have, just a quick glance says Target, Foot Locker, Toys R Us, Old Navy, Macy's, Kmart, Sears, JCPenny, Staples, Office Depot, Home Depot, Pier 1 and others.

After more looking, they have CompUSA, Circuit City and BestBuy

I applied for the Citi PremierPass card which basically has the same $100 gift card offer yesterday (no fee). Think it matters if I apply for this one too?

If you apply for and get the card, you might as well keep it too.... Unless you really don't mind the ding on your credit score.

You don't necessarily have to get a $100 gift card. They have amazon ones for $50 but not 100. There is nothing to stop you from getting 2-50's, 4-25's etc.

The standard rate is 14.24% for purchases. It only goes to 33% if you defalt.

either way, CC APR rates suck. I applied for the card just for the free $100. I already have my normal credit cards.
