OK go to www.exchangepath.com and sign up. Then register a credit card in the my profile section. Send a penny to anyone and your account is instantly credited with $10. I did this with a webcertificate and it worked. I haven't received the money but the verification charges are there and on the site it says it can take up to 3 days for credit card transactions.

Boy, what ever happened to no referal allowed, from a senior member no less.

On a serious note, anybody ever use these people? Could they be an alternative to paypal?

I don't think so, but hey, that's for the moderators to decide. Till then, the site looks promising but I want some actual feedback on them from other people before I give them my credit card number. Also, does exchangepath require a bank account number anyplace?

I tried this last week and got my FREE $10 in my account today :):):) exchangepath does not require a bank account #, cc# is enough. I used my ecount (similar to webcertificate) card number, it worked just fine...

btw i recommend ecount.com for web transactions and safe online shopping, it really works great...

It works. But they suspended my account, dunno if it's because I only sent a penny or what. But ... I did get my $10 credited.

Referals, linking or asking, is not allowed. I hate how so many websites are going with this referal service.

Yeah, Paypal started that whole viral marketing thing. "You too can sell your soul for $5.00".

Anyway, I have used ExchangePath and I like it quite a bit. Their "Ask for Money" tab is simplified and easy to use. I hate that Paypal makes you type in so many different fields. And don't even get me starting on the Auction portion!

Just verifying this deal too - worked for me. Plus exchangepath looks like it might be very useful.

Whoa, I'm confused. I signed up gave them my CC info and my account showed up as having $10. Is that my $10 or theirs? I then sent a penny to balance at 9.99? So if I take that out will it be there 9.99 or will it be 9.99 that they took out of my checking account(check card)?

$10 one time bonus (after your first use).

Then you can get $5 per referral, up to $100.

A good alternative to PayPal at the moment. With any luck they won't start charging fees...
