Thanks for the post! You never know .. this is something everyone has to do... funerals are expensive.. by the way, if your planning... got to caskets.com and buy it now cheaper!

Funeral parlors charge alot!

My sister died a few years ago (very young) $7000 for the casket.
Then the plot (family has a plot.. four genereations large) and then the lining for the ground to humetically seal it in a tomb (we all do that) was $5,000 .. hey, $1000 might buy the plot anyway!

Caskets.com charges like $1200 for the same casket.. its a new site.. morbid discussion .. but hey, it happens.. if you are doing estate planning , wealth planning and investments, might as well go for the gold and get this stuff out of the way.. this is the hard stuff for families to do after your gone..

I believe in planning! Let them grieve, in peace, with no decisions!

Just my 2 cents worth.

what if they take out a $100,000 life insurance policy on you and then whack you.
give your family 10,000 and keep the 90,000 as profit :)
just my crazy mind thinking

This would be a real hot deal if it included a way to fake your own death. Then again, that would make it fraud and probably illegal enough for the thread to get locked. Well, even if you never get the money, spending an eternity down under (and I don't mean Australia) can be considered extremely hot!! Maybe not a deal, though... unless you made a deal with el diablo for your soul. Now that is the definition of hot deal!;)

This is the equivalent of inviting an encyclopedia/siding/whatever salesman into your house.

Hmmm... I can think of a ton of "hot deal/have to be dead" jokes, but I'll refrain...
