Would be pretty cool... Makes sense. After all, the kids were watching Evil Dead on the tv in the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

I watched Army of Darkness in the theater...I was too psyched not to after I heard that they were actually making it. Was too young for the other two when they were originally released, though; only saw those when my brother randomly rented them.

I was at the nyc showing of Bubba Ho-tep (now on DVD). Bruce Campbell was there and answered some questions before the movie. Typical "will there be another ED?" To which he answered "real original, jackass."

Someone asked him about Jason vs freddy vs Ash. he said he'd only do it if Ash comes out on top!

On the thinking that Ash is from pokemon, I used to play Ut2004 demo with the character ash. After being accused of being a pokemon fan to many times, I switched to my current TheLastUTfighter.
