ehh... dude... do you go out to the movies much? LOTR? where's that? I guess everyone has their own opinions. But I think more ppl would agree with me more about LOTR.

Alien vs Predator and Jason vs. Freddie were sloshing around hollywood since the late 80's. They couldnt' find a good enough script, director, and studio to back them until now. As for Batman vs Superman, I'm not sure. But they've done countless crossover comics and cartoons (justice league, etc.) so that it's not a new idea. But now with all the comic book movies due out they thought hey it's a good time.

Jason X was a good bad movie if that makes sense 🙂. It was worth seeing just for the line

some dude "Did you find Bob"
some chick "Yeah, he's screwed"

or something close to that anyway. If you didn't see the movie that won't make sense but man it was funny 🙂.

There are two different movie scales. There are good movies and there are cool movies. Freddie vs Jason could do very well on the cool movie scale.

Good movies are ones that have good plots, acting, effects, believable story, etc
Cool movies are ones that have fire, explosions, decapitations, guts, car chases, limbs hacked off, etc

Every now and again a movie comes along that ranks well on both scales like Brave Heart but its rare.
