I saw it because I wanted to past the time while my car was getting its 60K maintenance and new tires. I wasn't expecting much but I enjoyed it. What surprised me was that I actually cried at the end -- enough so that a tear flowed out of the corner of my eye. I did not expect it since I have been very unemotional during movies lately.

So, this movie goes on my recommendation list -- any movie that brings tears to my eyes automatically does. It's also a very fun family type film.

Hey, he asked for it.

You cry at something like that, you're a pansy.
But if you don't cry when a heroic dog dies saving its owner, you're an insensitive asshole.

while i didn't cry at all, i thought it was one of the best films of the summer:) rather funny and entertaining. good acting etc.

i'm not one that ussually goes to that type of film either, but the hoards of positive reviews convinced me to give it a chance.

apparently the girl also did parent trap a few years back, if she looks sorta familiar, thats why:)

dont' take my word for it, its 90% fresh at rottentomatoes.com

It's bad enough that you admitted to watching it but to say you cried just makes it FAR WORSE.

This place is more hostile then Red Sox versus Yankees in game seven, winner goes to World Series.

You guys are aholes. He has the balls to admit he cried and you rip him--in true Anandtech form.
I'm man enough to admit I got teary watching "A Walk to Remember" and actually own it. Which stands out in my large DVD collection of mainly Sci-Fi, action, and comedies.
Don't take anything that Anandtech people say personal.

Yeah, but it's friggin' "Freaky Friday", it's not like it was "Old Yeller" or something.
