Goddamit, this is a GOOD show.

Am I watching repeats? Or is this show still in syndication?

Either it got cancelled, and they sent repeats to Fox Family channel, or it got moved to Fox Family and those are new shows. I don't get it either. It's like The Critic. Great show but I guess they just ran out of Marlin Brando fat jokes. Thats the only reason I can see why they cancelled it.

It was cancelled, but Fox Family bought the remaining episodes. I'm not sure if tonight's was a repeat or one of the new ones though.

Yes, it's an awesome show - I was glad to see it on cable.

The shows seem pretty recent, I hope there's still more to come.

I get back to back episodes on Tuesdays, 8pm and 9pm.

So that's ER at 6pm, Three Stooges at 7pm, Freaks & Geeks at 8pm + 9pm. Star Trek TNG at 10pm, Crossing Over at 11pm...Then off to bed.

Who the hell needs to 'go out' with a line up like that?

I LOVE FREAKS AND GEEKS.

I was Lyndsey Weir, I swear! I totally relate to her character. That show cracks me up every single time.

I don't know what they are going to do with it, but it is the best thing I have seen in years.

I love the dinner scenes... when the father goes on his tirades that make no sense and the kids just sit there going, ??????

My Favorite episode...

Episode 16: "Smooching and Mooching"

Sam's first kiss with his dream girl Cindy. The very last scene before the end of the show when you see Cindy go for the light switch before they kiss and the camera zooms in on Sam...The expression of ABJECT FEAR on his face...PRICELESS!

I went to their Official Site. The show was cancelled on March 21st 2000.

I just fell in love with a show that only lasted for 17 episodes. Does this make me some kind of friggin Necropheliac?

freaks and geeks was a good show...it was one of those that have low ratings yet critics love it...sports night was one of those shows too...i liked both of those shows and now they're both cancelled...i don't have cable either so i can't watch them anymore

My favorite episode was the Halloween episode where Bill dressed as the Bionic Woman.

I really liked Freaks and Geeks. I used episodes of the show in my high school Psychololgy class when we discussed adolescence and the kids could really relate to the characters and their concerns.

I'm going to necro a 18 year old thread because the topic deserves it.

There was just a documentary on this show that aired on A&E earlier this week. The documentary digs into it's creation, motivation and inspiration. Really brings it home what an incredibly good show this was (and still is). It's amazing the amount of talent that was involved in it's making and that is still going strong today.
