I'm going to guess it's because most Asian men date Asian women. On the other hand there are a lot of rich Asian men who like dating white women as a prestige thing. And like other posters stated, there is the height difference thing. I think this tends to skew the numbers, and this will probably change a lot as more generations of Asians are born in the US. This is not to say all of xxx race do xxx, just trends that are noticeable. Just for the record, I am part Asian and married to a white woman and we make about the same amount of money (not close to $250k sadly).

I don't think I've ever had an asian woman give me a hard time over my nationality. I may have come across them in the past but I certainly can't remember them, and I don't remember being particularly mistreated when I visited my father in Hong Kong, either.

Dating a taiwanese girl myself and from what she and other female friends have said, most of what they find unattractive is asian dudes' general lack of any kind of assertiveness. Quiet, shy, have no presence, tend to spend too much time in front of a computer. May be tied to insecurity stemming from their physical appearance (feminine, many are thinner/weaker than girls, short, unendowed, etc).

Combine with a cultural lack of respect for women as individuals and there you have it.

You should see how Japanese men treat Japanese women. Heck, my white friend, he's married to a Japanese woman. He treats her like like a Japanese man would. He doesn't show any personal affection, etc. THE WORSE part, IMO, is that he doesn't buy anything for her birthday or Valentine's Day. His reason?

"Well, she doesn't get anything for me so it works both ways."

I'm like WTF. And you wonder why some Japanese women divorce from their husbands after they retire. Another funny thing is that I believe starting in 2007 in Japan, women can claim 50% of their husband's pension if they divorce. Men better watch out. Times are changing in Japan. Women are getting less passive. They should be treated with respect no matter what culture you're from.
