Of course it was. Its like an annual 100 dollar fee to have to right to drive faster then everyone else on the road. I've been lucky and only made 2 such payments in my 4 years of driving. Well worth it.

... stupid ass... i dont care about people speeding upto 15mph in non-school zones. but freaking 26 mph over the speed limit is plain stupid and reckless. I hope you pay a big ass fine to teach you a lesson.

You would be amazed at the difference that the application of a little judgement vs. zero judgement makes to your driving record. After two suspensions and a revocation, I would still speed, just not like a complete dildo, and not everywhere I went. Presto! No more tickets.

it was pretty funny actually, the lady cop comes up to the car and says to turn the car off, and already knowing the drill, tell her the car is off...so she starts laughing.

then goes to me, you know what i pulled you over for and i tell her yes, and she says how fast were you going and I tell her 60 and she says no you were goiing 61.......

hell, it was bound to happen, been speeding on that same street for the past 8+ years.

you should not make judgement on others so fast, just because you probably drive a POS doesn't mean you can take it out on others.....:disgust:

It depends where he was driving. Many long, flat country roads are 35 mph but can easily be handled
at 70 mph, especially with the right car.

$100 for 26 over in a 35? I got $220 for 28 over in a 70.

for LA people this was on wilshire blvd., for others it is a three lane street that is pretty fun to drive and very very manageable.

i just talked to a friend who also last week got a ticket in the same place, looks like the city is clamping down....

wtf does him 'probably' driving a POS have to do with speeding and not speeding.. You were WAY over the limit there.. you deserved the ticket.

60 in a 35? sounds like my morning commute... the key is knowing police juristictions and always being ready to eat that whitetailed deer the day it decideds it wants to be in front of you....
