Ok well ive been readin about oc helping people oc their system and i e been reading this forum for along while now, but untill today ive never oced my system. i now have my sytem oced. please tell me if i should ease up on it alittle cause im afraid i might have pushed it too far on stock cooling.

3000+ 939 90nm Winchester pushed to 2.484MHZ 1.550v x9 276MHZ STOCK COOLING and thermal pad running at 31 degrees ( god i hope my temperatures are correct.
Im on a MSI K8N NEO2 Platunim and we know they used to read temperatures wrong. im using bios 1.8

512 RAM pc 2700 CPU 1/4 ratio frequency 177.4 mhz.

Should i relax it to 2.0 or should this stay cool and not destroy my pc =(

Don't worry, your fine🙂, I have heard that board reports a few degrees low, but still your in great shape. My winchester has been running at 2.6ghz with 1.58v for over 6 months now, no problems and my temps are 38-40c at idle and 52-53c at full load (after a few hours of prime95). Wichesters will make it almost to 70c before they shut themselves down in protection mode. I've seen people who run load temps up to 65c, too hot for me, IMHO anything under 60c for load temps is fine.

Yea its stable, but damn its amazing how much u cna milk the 3000+ for

and the MSI K8N NEO2 is such a great board
