So I bought a swiftech mcp655 pump from them probably mid feburary and set it up about 2 weeks ago to find that it was defective so I get an rma exchange and send it in last friday. Now the slowest it shoudl take is 4 days tops for it to get here since they were done inspecting and everythign on monday.
Yesterday I get an invoice with refund money in it and today I ask a representatvie about it. I ask her what is going on and she says that it's been backordered and when items are backordered, I'm given a refund automatically. On the rma page however it specifically states that when the item that is being exchanged is out of stock, a representative will contact me via email and tell me my options. Well I wasn't contacted with my options.
The price for it now is 90$ I bought it originally at 60$ but 90 is probably just a price they put on it since its out of stock so I ask her if I'll be compensated since the price is at such a large difference and she tells me that she left notes on my account about it. When I ask for proof of some sort she says no and to copy and paste the convo.
That's a bunch of crap because they could just say I typed it myself or something dumb like that and she refuses to give me an proof no email or anything. I love newegg, and I hate buying things from anywhere else and I'm not gona stop shopping there because of one bad experience but honestly, this was the absolute WORST experience I've have with newegg in my 2 years of buying from them.
