I'm sure some are like that, but I found a majority of them do work. used to get 40+ a day, then started unsubscribing and it fell to under 10.

I had heard that, but I was getting so much spam on one old account I had, I decided to give it a try. I opted out of every email that gave me the chance.

After about three weeks, my spam load was cut by 2/3 or more. It's seriously eased up now. So I guess it works, somewhat.

i hate spam!!! every morning its the first thing i do is go through and delete 15+ fricken spam's at work. Its gotten totally out of control.

yeah usually if it is legit than when you enter something that is not an email address it will say you entered an email address not in our database

but if i put like "fvck you" into an unsubscribe form it will just say thank you you have been unsubscribed and obviously this one is just trying to collect email addresses

yea, probably spyware. arent there bots that collect e-mail addresses off the internet, as well?

and there are some weird ones in hotmail. my hotmail addy is gwlam12@hotmail.com I see spam sent to me, as well as to others, that have similar address as mine. gwlam@hotmail, gwlamb@hotmail. plus many many more. i'd paste it here but ive deleted my spam already so gotta wait till the next one that does that arrives!

yeah i knw wat u mean...i see that on my hotmail account many times....annoying.....spam destroyed hotmail...yahoo's better @ hanlding it...well, that's just me...i only get like 2 spams every 2-3 days on my yahoo acccount...where as i get 10 every 2 days on my hotmail...and 20 a day from my stupid ucsd email.......
