I bought my new Polk CS400i center speaker today, normally $400, $185 for me :) So I take it home and open it. The cabinet is all banged up in the corner, and the pegs that hold the screen thing on are broken on the top. So I figure, eh, no big deal, its just cosmetic stuff. Well, I plug it all in, and the freakin left woofer is alllll messed up. Urggghhh. If I didn't have to go back there tomorrow anyway, I'd probably be pretty pissed :)

<< you get what you pay for. >>

Hmmm... you are getting it for a small fraction of the cost, you sure they're not trying to cut corners on you deeko?

Go ahead and give 'em a piece of your mind! Fight the power!

Good luck :)

Hmm...you're right...a $400 brand-new closed-box speaker should have defects, as it is a low-end item...

I'm getting it with my employee discount. Still brand new.

ah... you should have said that you where getting it as an employee discount... so what are you going to do? go to your boss and bitch him out that your employee discounted subwoofer isn't up to par and that you want a refund? ha.. that's funny.

Considering that if I hadn't bought it, a customer paying full price would have, its probably better that I got it and return it, rather than it happening to a customer, cuz then we'd probably lose the customer, ya know?
