Freakin' apt living and loud car stereos

Ahh yes the joy's of apt living. Still not as bad as hearing "Lick my ass oh yea lick my ass" though the wall at 3 am

No balcony...in a townhome and there are screens on the windows.

I want to get a set of those tire tacks they use on COPS 😀

We have car alarms set off at our apts and the people sit in their cars with the doors open seemingly ignorant of the noise and that they caused it.
I asked a guy I used to work with why he wore ear plugs in his car and he said "cause his stereo made him deaf".
I said "why dont you turn the volume down"
He said" nobody outside could hear it then"
I said ' maybe they dont want to hear it"
He looked at me with a puzzled look on his face.
This guy is nice as can be too.

Also, there is a girl that pulls up and blocks 2 or 3 cars off, leaves her stereo blasting, leaves her door open with the car running and goes inside her apt for half an hour or more.
One stereo was so loud I swear my roommate said "It sounds like someone is on the balcony".
I almost choked on my soda.

heh...well...was living at dad's after I sold the house and wanted to rent a house...freakin' hate apartment living. But, found a nice townhome 1 mile from work. And, I bet I could 'take matters into my own hands' with a little sniping practice 😀

I would go down and do one of the following:

1. Turn her car stereo off and/or her car
2. Put a huge sign saying "Steal Me" and invite car thieves in
3. Bung a potato up the exhaust

When looking for an apartment, the first thing I do is look at the cars in the parking lot. If I see ONE hooptie mobile-forget it. One spawns others. Never had a problem using that method 🙂

I guess it depends on the area. I know some areas where apt living would be just fine.

And yea blasting your stereo at 3AM is frickin retarded. IMO, until 11-12 is more acceptable, but if you're in a highly residential area then it's still idiotic. Go downtown and blast your subs to show them off... not in the neighorhood where nobody cares or wants to hear it, where there is nobody to impress.
